The fall season for the King of Clubs Senior Golf Tour will be starting on Tuesday September 6th at the Summerside Golf Club. This will be the first of five fall events and will be a shotgun start at 8:30AM. Please note the change in the start time.

The spring session was very enjoyable despite the poor weather conditions that continue to plague the golfers, however, the forecast for the fall season is more encouraging. The five scheduled events are: Summerside on Tuesday, September 6th; Glasgow Hills on Wednesday, September 14th; Stanhope on Monday, September 19th; Clyde River on Monday, September 26th; and the tour finale at Brudenell on Monday, October 3rd. Golfers will be earning points for the PEIGA Moosehead Senior Ranking as well as the King of Clubs Senior and Super Senior Rankings. The top players in these rankings will be awarded valuable prizes as well as invitations to the season ending Match Play event at Fox Meadow Gold Club on Saturday and Sunday October 15th and 16th. The top 16 seniors and the top 8 super seniors in the PEIGA Moosehead Senior Player Ranking will be invited to participate in the Fox Meadow event. Also the Provincial Senior Team and the top 9 on the PEIGA Moosehead Senior Ranking will be invited to play next June in the 2012 Maritime Senior Challenge to be held in Moncton.

This fall’s session for the King of Clubs Senior Tour is of significant importance in that it will not only be an enjoyable experience for the golfers but there will also be competitive challenges to be met. All the information for each of the events is posted on the PEIGA website or you can contact Cliff Goodwin at 902-836-5531 to register.
